Christmas

This year Christmas and Christmas Eve were so much fun. Sam made us laugh with some of her new toys. Here is a little sample.

Can you guess who is the "Dirt Devil" in this picture? (For those that know me well, we know I'm not it)

Cousins Cocktail

We hosted a cocktail party for my first cousins and their kids this weekend. It was a way to get the second cousins a chance to meet one another. So much fun! We can't wait to do it again this summer.

Sam greeting guests by offering to mix a little holiday cheer! (Like mother like daughter)

Halloween Party!

Sam had a Halloween party at her school tonight and had a blast. BFF Lauren and her parents came over for a little pre-party (Wine & Beer) so the girls could play before the big event. For those that have a weak heart or wear a pacemaker, please view the pictures of me with my costume with caution. The laughter that the picture will create may send you the ER.

Sam as Tinkerbell looking very relaxed. (You can't tell by the picture but she is wearing Kitty Glitter all over her hair and cheeks)

Eating of course!

Please be kind in your postings....Especially you Mike!

Bear family visit

My boy Murphy just scared two cubs and a momma bear up a tree in our driveway. He's going nuts. Steve was outside washing the cars and the bear family were on their way up our driveway, when our security guard Murphy took charge. I'm giving him a big dog bone for a job well done. That's what I get for living out in the woods.

90210

I just want everyone to know that I just watched the new 90210.....LOVED IT! It's still as cheesy as ever. I loved watching how they mixed in the old show in with the new story line too. Too bad my girl Tori Spelling didn't make the cut though.

Goshen Fair

We went to the Goshen Fair today. It is by far my favorite fair. It's small, but has awesome activities and vendors. Sam loved all the farm animals, and had a great time with Grandpa and Peeps. Her favorite thing to do was eat fair food of course.

Petting the sheep.

Learning about pigs from grandpa Mike.

Getting denied access to the rides.

No rides, no problem. Food is the most fun anyway!

Beardsley Zoo

Today we had a family trip to the Beardsley Zoo. I can't even remember the last time I went to any kind of zoo. We had so much fun. The zoo itself was perfect for little ones. Some of the animal exhibits were a bit questionable, but the animals were clean and looked pretty healthy. (What do you want for small and over 100 years old) Sam loved the bears. Go figure after our bear encounter last week in the driveway. In any case, it was perfect for her and was just enough for her old parents to deal with too.

She pretty much calls all animals "Doggies".

Hated the carousel.

She really loved the peacocks running around.

These were her favorite species of peacocks!

She picked out a bear souvenir that hopefully Murphy won't confiscate.

Fox TV-August 6th Debut

Sam is getting her first haircut Friday morning and will be on some Fox 61 morning show for a segment on children's hair salons. Hopefully she will make the cut. I'll post footage when it becomes available. (I'm hoping she gets discovered and is offered a part in a movie, etc. and will start paying her part of the bills around here...LOL!)

Birthday Girl!

Our little princess turned one, and of course is already acting like a toddler by refusing to pose for a picture. (Hopefully we will get some good ones at her party)

Happy July 4th

Nothing says July 4th like a COLD slice of juicy watermelon. Yum!

Especially when you have six teeth with two more popping up just in time for your birthday.

Sam in the Pool

I know, I know...I've been terrible with the updated posts. In any case, here is a little video of Sam hanging in the pool. Of course her BFF murphy loves to be part of it. She actually cried when I tried to take her out of the pool an hour later.

Sam's 1st Race and places 3rd

Sam entered the Stonyfield farms Yo Baby race today at West Farms Mall and won 3rd place in the crawling competition. Needless to say we are extremely proud of our girl. Thanks to all of our supporters for the race today: Grandma, Babcia, Ciocia, Uncle Doc and Alex. Here are a few pics, and later on Stonyfield will be posting video and pictures of the race too.

Lisa Lampanelli

For those of you that are looking for a good comic that is crude and rude..I've got one!
Lisa Lampanelli

I've heard her on Howard Stern and have seen her doing those roasts on comedy central (Pam Anderson roast is the best). Lisa is one of the best comics who is the least politically correct person on the earth. (WARNING: She is not for everyone...for those that get offended easily, don't bother going to this link. If you enjoy making fun of people.... continue)

Girls and their shoes!

....Yes I have an addiction to buying shoes not only for myself, but now for Sam.
Here Sam is posing with her cousin Bella with their matching pink hi-tops!
(notice how Sam looks exactly like Steve and Bella looks exactly like Doc...Orlowski genes!)

Sam's boyfriend Tucker!

Oh yes! She has a boyfriend. Here is a pic with Sam and Tucker being chaperoned by Grandma Joanne. (Tucker's Grandma)

The things parents do for a laugh!

Yes, she is laughing AT us not WITH us.

TMZ...I'm Just Saying!!!

It's a little scary, but look at the similarities with 1970's Elton. She actually wears those sunglasses all the time.

Easter Weekend

Easter was fun this year. We went to an egg hunt, met the Easter bunny (Sam not a fan of the Easter bunny) and of course dyed eggs too.

Laughing it up while getting her picture taken in her Easter dress!

I really couldn't help it. I know, I will get payback for this picture.

O'Hartford 5K

I did my first 5K(3.1 miles for those that don't know) race of the year today. Not my best, but not my worst either. (29 minutes and 22 seconds) So instead of being pregnant like last year, I'm in the 35-40 year old age group instead...scary!
Steve forgot the camera, so there are no pictures. That's OK I actually have a 5 mile race in two weeks. We'll have pictures for that one. Who would of thought that I used to smoke???

Sam's Christening

Thanks to everyone who made Sam's baptism so special. A big thanks to her godparents, Heather & Doc for agreeing to take on such a job. (I don't think anyone told them that they now have to babysit on command)
